    On M 42 motors, thermostat housing gasket 11 53 1 721 172 and thermostat "O" ring 11 53 1 721 218 should be replaced. On M 50 motors, thermostat "O" ring 11 53 1 265 084 and thermostat gasket 11 53 1 748 047 should be replaced up to production 5/92. From production 5/92, thermostat "O" ring 11 53 1 265 084 and thermostat gasket 11 53 1 740 437 should be replaced on motor versions M 50, M 52 and S 52.
